Typical duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing HTML, DHTML, XML conversions

  • Preparing Word, PDF, excel spreadsheets, table, charts and other documents required to consolidated information

  • Evaluate media for transfer as an information resource

  • Exploit media for Information Resources of Business Value

  • Consolidate Information Resources on the Info Repatriation Server

  • Structure information to facilitate retrieval and disposition according to departmental and government standards

  • Act as CJOC webmaster in the absence of the CJOC webmaster

Mandatory Qualifications:

Education:

  • Post Secondary school diploma is required

  • Certificate, diploma, or degree in computer science, web design or other relevant field from a recognized post secondary institution is required

Experience:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience is required

  • Show recent expertise in evaluation of different media formats to determine if it contains Information of Business Value

  • Display knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of the Government of Canada Recordkeeping Directive

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the use of meta tags and how meta tags can be used to provide structure to unstructured information
