Typical duties may include, but are not limited to:
Performing HTML, DHTML, XML conversions
Preparing Word, PDF, excel spreadsheets, table, charts and other documents required to consolidated information
Evaluate media for transfer as an information resource
Exploit media for Information Resources of Business Value
Consolidate Information Resources on the Info Repatriation Server
Structure information to facilitate retrieval and disposition according to departmental and government standards
Act as CJOC webmaster in the absence of the CJOC webmaster
Mandatory Qualifications:
Education:
Post Secondary school diploma is required
Certificate, diploma, or degree in computer science, web design or other relevant field from a recognized post secondary institution is required
Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience is required
Show recent expertise in evaluation of different media formats to determine if it contains Information of Business Value
Display knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of the Government of Canada Recordkeeping Directive
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the use of meta tags and how meta tags can be used to provide structure to unstructured information
