Walvis Technologies is looking for a talented, enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join our team.
OVERALL PURPOSE Gain attention and strengthen client relationships through the coordination of strategic marketing messages using various platforms including social media, web, print, email, phone, meetings and client events. Assist in drafting proposals and RFP responses. Drive brand recognition and consistency across external communication channels.
MINIMUM SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Completed a post secondary College Diploma or University Degree in a relevant field, preferably business, marketing, interior design or architecture.
Experience and formal training combined may substitute for stipulated education requirements
Language English Essential. Ability to communicate in Chinese would be an asset but not mandatory.
Experience in writing content to be used for external purposes

Substantial knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Knowledge of search engine marketing strategies
Your main responsibilities and duties are as follows:
Plan development projects and co-ordinate activities with representatives of a wide variety of commercial enterprises, community and business associations;
Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discover and explore opportunities.
Assess business opportunities and develop strategies to provide services;
Respond to enquiries from prospective clients and business partners;
Gain attention and strengthen client relationships through the coordination of strategic marketing messages using various platforms including social media, web, meetings and events;
Follow up new business opportunities, set up meetings and prepare presentations;
Oversee the development of marketing literature;
Prepare reports, research papers, provide management with feedback.
