DATA CONVERSION SPECIALIST

Skills and Qualifications

• A degree from a recognized university in any of the following: Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a diploma (minimum 2 years) from a recognized college in a technical field or business or finance, or a recognized certification in the Data Conversion Specialist field (eg: Business Intelligence System Infrastructure certificate, certificate in Database Management, certificate in Data Visualisation etc.);

• Minimum five (5) years of demonstrated experience in gathering data from multiple sources and consolidating the data into a single repository;

• Minimum five (5) years of demonstrated experience in implementing a repeatable data conversion approach that results in consistent data output;

• Minimum three (3) years of demonstrated experience in developing work instruments, specifically scripts for the purpose of automating repetitive extract, transforming and loading data;

• Minimum three (3) years of demonstrated experience in effective management of stakeholder relationships as demonstrated through delivering guidance and advice to clients;

• Demonstrated experience in analyzing, and developing clean up scripts for corrupt data;

• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing data migration plans for the migration of existing data sources to a centralized CMDB;

• Demonstrated experience in providing data migration progress reports; and,

• Demonstrated experience in using MS-Excel Data Mining and Pivot Table.
